Template Licence & Usage Policy

WHAT THIS LICENSE COVERS All templates and digital products sold by SampleBoard Studio are protected by copyright. When you purchase or download a template, you are buying a license to use it — not ownership of the template itself. This page explains exactly what you may and may not do with SampleBoard Studio templates, in clear, simple language. WHAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO ✅ You may use SampleBoard Studio templates: For personal projects For educational use (students, coursework, assignments) For internal business use For client presentations and concept boards To create customised, client-specific visuals (PDFs, images, presentations, mockups) You may: Edit templates in Canva Add your own branding, images, text, and materials Export finished designs for client delivery WHAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO 🚫 You may not: Resell, share, sublicense, gift, or redistribute templates or files Upload templates to shared drives, resource libraries, or marketplaces Offer templates as part of a freebie, bundle, course, or membership Use templates to create competing or derivative products Claim the templates or layouts as your own original design work Share Canva access links to the original templates In short: 👉 You may deliver finished designs to clients 👉 You may not give clients (or anyone else) the templates themselves CLIENT WORK CLARIFICATION You are allowed to use SampleBoard Studio templates for client work. You are not allowed to: Transfer template ownership Share editable Canva files Include templates as a project deliverable If a client wants the template itself, they must purchase their own license. STUDENT & EDUCATIONAL USE Students may use templates for: Assignments Portfolios Course submissions Templates may not be shared between students, uploaded to class folders, or reused by educators as teaching materials without written permission. MEMBERSHIPS & SUBSCRIPTIONS If you access templates via a membership or subscription: Your license is valid only while your membership is active Downloaded templates remain subject to this license Access may be revoked if terms are violated INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All templates, layouts, designs, and files remain the intellectual property of Sample Board Online CC. Unauthorised use, sharing, or resale may result in: Immediate termination of access Revocation of licenses Legal action where appropriate NEED EXTENDED OR COMMERCIAL LICENSING?
